Najwa Khaled bin Laden (Arabic: نجوة خالد, born Najwa Khayr al-Said, also known as Najwa bint Laban or Najwa bint Muhammad) is a Saudi Arabian princess and the younger sister of Osama bin Laden. Najwa Khaled is a member of the bin Laden family, which has been active in the construction and real estate industry in Saudi Arabia since the 19th century. She has two sons, Khalid and Omar bin Laden, who both have been publicly associated with Al-Qaeda. In 1996, she was one of seven people arrested as part of an international investigation into terrorism financing. In October 1998 she was released from prison as part of a prisoner exchange between Saudi Arabia and Germany
In 2006 King Fahd pardoned her for her role in the 1998 arrest. Her husband, Muhammad Khaled al-Sheha, was killed in a car accident in 2007.
